The following registration packages are available for the Joint Assembly 2017. Fees are quoted in ZAR and include 14% Value Added Tax (VAT).

Full Delegate Registration:
Early Bird Fees: R6 000
Standard Fees: R7 000
On-site: R8 000
Additional charge for dinner

Student Registration Fees:
Student Early Bird: R4 250
Student Standard: R5 250
Student On-site: R5 500
Additional charge for dinner

Retired person: (same as Student)

Day Registration Fees:
Early Bird Day Rate: R2 500
Standard Day Rate : R3 000
On-site Day Rate: R3 300

Accompanying Person Registration Fees:
Early Bird: R1 500
Standard: R1 750
On-site: R2 000
Additional charge for dinner

Please note to ensure inclusion in the final programme, all authors /presenters have to register and pay reigstration fees by latest 30 June 2017.  On-site fees are only applicable in cases of emergency and for delegates not presenting.

Delegate Registration Package:

  • Attendance of all sessions
  • Delegate collateral including USB with abstracts
  • Welcome function
  • Programme
  • Drinks vouchers for poster sessions
  • Refreshment breaks (2 per day)
  • No lunch (there will be food on sale at the CTICC)

Accompanying Persons Package:

  • Access to exhibition area (Monday - Friday) from 12h00 - 13h30 (lunch time)
  • Poster sessions and wine tasting with drinks vouchers (Tuesday and Thursday 17h30 - 19h30)
  • Opening Ceremony and Welcome Function: 28 August 15h30 - 17h30 / 17h30 - 20h00

Criteria for Students:

  • Not older than 35 in the year of the Assembly
  • Doing PHD or post graduate studies in year of the Assembly (2017)

Invitation Letters:

EFT (an invoice will be sent to delegates after registration)

Bank Deposit (an invoice will be sent to delegates after registration)

Online Credit Card (after completing the registration online it will proceed to the online credit card payment page)

Please note that all early bird payments have to be done, and cleared through the bank by 31 May 2017.




Terms and Conditions

  1. Access to and attendance at the Joint Assembly 2017 will only be confirmed on receipt of payment.
  2. Payment is due prior to the start of the Assembly.
  3. All early-bird fees must be paid by the closing date of the early-bird time period. Failure to pay the early-bird fee by such date will result in the delegate being liable for the full registration fees.
  4. An invoice with the Conference bank details will be sent to you after registration.
  5. Receipts will only be issued once proof of payment has been received, and once the payment has cleared and been identified in the conference bank account.
  6. Proof of payment is to be emailed to Robyn Cawood, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  7. Please ensure that all payments make clear reference to the delegate being paid for, with their unique PIN number: (Name, Surname, PIN number). Failure to do so could result in your payment not being identified in the bank account and therefore not being receipted.
  8. All payments must be made payable to Joint Assembly 2017
  9. Registrations are transferable to delegates who have not yet registered.
  10. Delegates attending from countries outside South Africa are requested to make payment in South African Rands (ZAR) and are responsible for covering the full bank charges. The full delegate registration fee amount invoiced must appear in the Joint Assembly 2017 bank account. Should this not be the case, the delegate will need to pay the difference in cash on site before being allowed to participate in the event.
  11. Online registration will close on Tuesday 22 August 2017.

Cancellations and Termination of Registrations

  1. On completion of this application you will be liable for the full amount of the registration fees subject to the cancellation conditions below.
  2. All cancellations must be received in writing by the Conference Secretariat – This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  3. Cancellations received on or before 30 May 2017 will receive a full refund, less a R500 administration fee.
  4. Cancellation received between 31 May 2017 and 7 August 2017 (17:00 GMT +2) will receive a 50% refund.
  5. No refunds will be issued for cancellation received after 7 August 2017 (17:01 GMT +2).
  6. Any registrations received after 7 August 2017 will not be entitled to any refund or credit, and such person will be liable for the full registration fee as above.
  7. All refunds due will only be issued after the Conference.
