Overview

This is a downloader built specifically for streamed media rather than for files. Paste an address and it resolves the underlying media, lists every quality and format the source actually offers, and pulls the selected one down using several parallel connections, which is where the speed difference over a browser's own download comes from.

Format handling is more involved than it looks from the outside, because modern streaming rarely serves a single file. Video and audio usually arrive as separate adaptive streams broken into fragments, and the downloader reassembles them, muxes them back together and writes a single playable file. Where a source offers several resolutions and bit rates, all of them are listed with their size so the choice is informed rather than a guess.

The queue is built for volume. Whole playlists, channels and multi part series resolve into individual items that can be filtered before they are queued, downloads run several at a time with a configurable concurrency limit, failed items retry automatically, and the whole queue can be scheduled to run overnight or paused when the connection is needed elsewhere. Subtitle tracks download alongside the media, either embedded or as separate files.

Conversion runs at the end of the transfer rather than as a separate step. Output can be converted to a chosen video format and resolution, extracted as audio in compressed or lossless form, or written to a device preset sized for a phone, tablet or player. A browser extension and a clipboard monitor mean an address can be handed over without ever opening the main window, and a built in browser handles sources that require navigating to the media first.

Key Features

  • Media resolution from thousands of streaming sources with every available quality listed
  • Multi threaded transfer with parallel connections per item
  • Adaptive stream reassembly and muxing into a single playable file
  • Playlist, channel and series resolution into filterable individual items
  • Batch queue with configurable concurrency, automatic retry and scheduling
  • Subtitle track download, embedded or as separate files
  • Conversion on completion to a chosen format, resolution or audio only output
  • Device presets sizing output for phones, tablets and players
  • Browser extension and clipboard monitor for handing over addresses
  • Built in browser for sources that require navigation before the media resolves

What Changed in This Build

  • Updated extractors for sources that changed their delivery format
  • Faster reassembly on fragmented adaptive streams
  • Improved subtitle handling when several language tracks are present
  • Queue performance improved with several hundred pending items

Installation Notes

  • Pick the quality deliberately rather than always taking the highest, the top listing on a long source can be very large.
  • Set the concurrency limit sensibly, running twenty transfers at once on a modest connection is slower overall than running five.
  • Convert on completion only when you need a specific format, keeping the original stream avoids a re encode.

Before You Start

Read the notes above before running setup. Most of the problems people write in about are covered there, and almost all of them come down to an older version of the same software still being installed, a graphics driver that predates the release, or a security suite quarantining part of the package mid install.

There is no archive password on this or any other entry in the library. If something you downloaded elsewhere claims to come from here and asks for one, it did not come from here. Nothing on this site is behind a survey, a shortener or a countdown either.

If the entry does not match what the page describes, say so on the contact page and include the version string from the release details table. Reports naming a specific version get checked first because the checker can reproduce them straight away.

Frequently Asked

Why are video and audio listed separately?

Because most streaming sources deliver them as separate adaptive streams. The downloader reassembles and muxes them into one file automatically.

Does it handle playlists?

Yes. A playlist or channel address resolves into individual items that can be filtered before queueing.

Can it just extract the audio?

Yes, either by selecting an audio only stream where the source offers one, or by converting on completion.
