Every entry in this index is checked before it is listed and re checked on a rolling schedule afterwards. A checker pulls each mirror, confirms the archive opens, confirms the version string matches what the page claims, and reports back. Anything that fails is pulled from rotation until it is fixed rather than left to rot at the bottom of a list.
Pages are written by hand, not scraped. That is slower and it is the reason the library is a few hundred titles rather than a few hundred thousand, but it means the version number on the page is the version you get, the size is the real size, and the requirements section reflects what the software actually needs rather than what a marketing page claimed six releases ago.
There are no archive passwords anywhere on this site, no link shorteners, no survey gates and no countdown pages. If a page anywhere claims to be this library and asks you for any of those, it is not this library. The address in your bar is the only one we publish.
