Overview
Windows 11 Professional on the 25H2 servicing branch is the current desktop platform, and this image is prepared so the hardware gate does not decide for you. The TPM 2.0, secure boot and processor generation checks are handled during setup, which means a perfectly capable machine from a few years ago can run the current operating system rather than being told it is obsolete.
The Professional edition carries the tooling that Home leaves out: BitLocker with TPM, PIN or password unlock, Hyper-V for local virtual machines, Windows Sandbox for disposable testing, Remote Desktop as a host, local Group Policy, domain join and update deferral controls so a feature update does not arrive in the middle of a deadline.
The 25H2 line brings the current window management surface with snap layouts and groups, virtual desktops with per desktop wallpapers, the redesigned file explorer with tabs, the modern settings application which has finally absorbed almost all of the old control panel, and the current audio and graphics stacks including DirectStorage and hardware accelerated GPU scheduling.
The image is multilingual, with the display language chosen at setup and changeable afterwards without reinstalling. It is preactivated, so setup completes straight into a working desktop rather than into a prompt. Storage and network drivers for recent hardware are integrated, which avoids the classic situation where setup cannot see the drive it is meant to install onto.

Installation Notes
- Back up before repartitioning. A clean install wipes the target partition.
- Write the image to a USB stick of 8 GB or larger using a tool that handles files above 4 GB, since the install payload exceeds that limit.
- Disconnect other drives during setup so the boot loader lands on the correct disk.
Before You Start
Read the notes above before running setup. Most of the problems people write in about are covered there, and almost all of them come down to an older version of the same software still being installed, a graphics driver that predates the release, or a security suite quarantining part of the package mid install.
There is no archive password on this or any other entry in the library. If something you downloaded elsewhere claims to come from here and asks for one, it did not come from here. Nothing on this site is behind a survey, a shortener or a countdown either.
If the entry does not match what the page describes, say so on the contact page and include the version string from the release details table. Reports naming a specific version get checked first because the checker can reproduce them straight away.
Frequently Asked
Yes. The image is prepared so the requirement check does not block setup on hardware that lacks the module.
Yes, if the existing install is healthy. A clean install is still the better outcome on a machine with years of accumulated software.
No. Setup completes with it disabled, though leaving it enabled is fine where the firmware supports it.
