Overview
Continuum is the largest general purpose effects package for video work, and the way it is organised tells you what it is for. Rather than one grab bag of filters, it is split into units: keying and compositing, lights, particles, image restoration, film style, blur and sharpen, titling, transitions, warps and more. This build installs every unit, so nothing in the browser opens onto a purchase prompt.
The practical centre of the package is the shared technology underneath the filters. A planar tracker built on the same engine as the company's dedicated tracking product is embedded in nearly every effect, so a lens flare, a blur region, a title or a beauty pass can be pinned to a moving surface from inside the effect itself rather than through a separate tracking layer. Masking is likewise built in, with drawn shapes, tracked masks and channel based mattes available on any filter.
Restoration and cleanup are the units that earn their place on ordinary jobs: dust and scratch removal, deflicker for rolling artificial light, denoise, deband, optical stabilisation, chromatic aberration removal and a beauty studio unit for skin work that tracks a face across a shot. These are the effects that turn an unusable take into a usable one, and they are the reason the package ends up installed at facilities that already own several others.
Host coverage is broad. The installer detects the editors and compositors present on the machine and places the correct plugin format into each, so the same effect with the same parameters appears in every application in a facility. Presets are shared across hosts as well, which means a look developed in the compositor can be applied in the editor without rebuilding it.

- Planar tracking embedded inside individual effects rather than requiring a separate layer
- Built in masking with drawn shapes, tracked masks and channel based mattes on any filter
- Primatte and chroma keying with spill suppression and edge treatment
- Beauty studio unit with face tracking for skin work across a full shot
- Restoration unit with dust and scratch removal, deflicker, denoise and deband
- Particle systems for smoke, fire, debris and abstract motion elements
- Titling and text tools with 3D extrusion and material assignment
- Large transition library with tracked and shape driven wipes
- Installs into every supported host on the machine with shared presets across them
What Changed in This Build
- New effect units added across lighting and particle work
- Faster GPU paths on the restoration and blur units

Installation Notes
- Install the hosts first, the installer only offers plugin formats for applications it can find.
- The preset browser builds its thumbnail cache on first open, let that finish once rather than cancelling it repeatedly.
- On a shared facility, keep every workstation on the same package version so projects open with matching parameters.
Before You Start
Read the notes above before running setup. Most of the problems people write in about are covered there, and almost all of them come down to an older version of the same software still being installed, a graphics driver that predates the release, or a security suite quarantining part of the package mid install.
There is no archive password on this or any other entry in the library. If something you downloaded elsewhere claims to come from here and asks for one, it did not come from here. Nothing on this site is behind a survey, a shortener or a countdown either.
If the entry does not match what the page describes, say so on the contact page and include the version string from the release details table. Reports naming a specific version get checked first because the checker can reproduce them straight away.
Frequently Asked
The common editors and compositors. The installer detects what is present and places the matching plugin format into each.
It shares the same planar tracking engine, embedded inside the effects. The standalone product remains more capable for dedicated tracking and roto work.
Yes. This build installs the complete unit set rather than a subset.
