Overview

Chrome's practical advantage is not any single feature, it is that the entire web is built and tested against it first. Installation Notes

• Use the offline installer on machines with no working network yet, which is the whole reason to take this package rather than the stub.
• Set up separate profiles if the machine is shared, rather than one profile with everybody's extensions and passwords in it.
• Review extensions periodically. They are the largest single source of browser slowdowns and unwanted behaviour.

Before You Start

Read the notes above before running setup. Most of the problems people write in about are covered there, and almost all of them come down to an older version of the same software still being installed, a graphics driver that predates the release, or a security suite quarantining part of the package mid install.
