Overview

This suite exists because no single licensing method works on every machine and every product, and keeping three separate tools around to cover the gaps is tedious. It puts all three methods in one portable window, reports what the current state actually is before you change anything, and lets you pick the approach that suits the machine in front of you.

The first method stands up a local key management service and points the product at it, writing a licence state with a long expiry and an optional renewal task. It works completely offline, applies to both the operating system and the office suite, and is the most broadly compatible of the three since it does not depend on any particular edition.

The second method writes a permanent hardware bound licence tied to the machine itself, which survives a reinstall of the same edition on the same computer with no further intervention. The third method performs a conventional key based licensing pass over the network, which is the appropriate choice on machines where the local service approach is blocked or where a permanent bound licence is not wanted.

The supporting tools are what make it usable rather than a set of blind buttons. A status reader reports the current licence state, the installed key, the edition and the remaining period before you touch anything. A full reset clears accumulated state on machines that have been through several previous attempts, which is the usual reason a straightforward pass fails. There is also an edition switcher, a scheduled renewal task manager, and a detailed log recording every command issued and every response returned.

Installation Notes

  • Read the status report before doing anything. Knowing the current state decides which of the three methods is appropriate.
  • Real time protection commonly quarantines tools in this category because of what they modify. Restore the files or add a folder exclusion before running.
  • Run the reset first on a machine that has had several previous attempts, then apply one method cleanly rather than layering them.

Before You Start

Read the notes above before running setup. Most of the problems people write in about are covered there, and almost all of them come down to an older version of the same software still being installed, a graphics driver that predates the release, or a security suite quarantining part of the package mid install.

There is no archive password on this or any other entry in the library. If something you downloaded elsewhere claims to come from here and asks for one, it did not come from here. Nothing on this site is behind a survey, a shortener or a countdown either.

If the entry does not match what the page describes, say so on the contact page and include the version string from the release details table. Reports naming a specific version get checked first because the checker can reproduce them straight away.

Frequently Asked

Which method should I use?

The local service method is the most broadly compatible. The permanent bound method is better on a machine you will reinstall repeatedly. The key based method is the fallback when the others are blocked.

Does it work offline?

The local service and permanent methods do. The key based network method needs a connection by definition.

Will it survive a feature update?

Usually. If a large update resets the state, run it again or register the renewal task so it maintains itself.
