Overview

This is the minimal end of the category. One small executable, one window, one button, no installation and no options to get wrong. It exists for the situation where a machine has just been rebuilt, everything is fine except one thing, and you want that one thing resolved in ten seconds without reading documentation or making decisions about scheduled tasks.

Everything happens locally. There is no connection made at any point, which is what the name refers to, and that matters on machines that are deliberately isolated, on machines behind a restrictive network, and on machines where a fresh install has not yet got a working network driver. The whole operation is contained in the executable and completes without touching anything outside the local system.

It handles the platform editions across several generations including the server lines, and the office generations that use the volume model. Detection is automatic: it reads what is installed, picks the appropriate treatment and reports what it did. A status view shows the current state before and after, so the result is visible rather than assumed, and a detailed log records each step for anyone who wants to see it.

Nothing persists after it runs. No service is installed, no scheduled task is created, no driver is loaded, and the executable can be deleted immediately afterwards, which is the practical difference from the toolkits that maintain a renewal component. For anyone who wants the smallest possible footprint and no ongoing background element, this is the version of the idea that leaves the least behind.

Installation Notes

• Run it as administrator. Without elevation it cannot read or change the state it needs to.
• Real time protection commonly quarantines this type of tool. Add an exclusion for the folder before extracting it.
• Check the status view first. If the machine is already in the state you want, close it and do nothing.

Before You Start

Read the notes above before running setup. Most of the problems people write in about are covered there, and almost all of them come down to an older version of the same software still being installed, a graphics driver that predates the release, or a security suite quarantining part of the package mid install.

There is no archive password on this or any other entry in the library. If something you downloaded elsewhere claims to come from here and asks for one, it did not come from here. Nothing on this site is behind a survey, a shortener or a countdown either.
