Overview

This one is built for people who download a lot and want to think about it as little as possible. The window is a list. Links go in at the top, items appear in the list with a progress bar, finished items move down, and that is the whole model. There is no browser to drive, no extension to keep working and no advertising layer between you and the queue.

Clipboard watching is the feature that shapes how it is used. With it enabled, copying a link anywhere on the system adds it to the queue immediately, so a session of collecting things to watch later becomes a sequence of copies with no application switching at all. The queue runs several items at once with a configurable simultaneous limit so a large batch does not saturate the connection.

Quality and format are set once in preferences and then applied to everything, or chosen per item when a particular file needs different treatment. The format list covers the common video containers and the standard audio formats, with bitrate and sample rate control on the audio side. Metadata is written into finished files including title, artist and channel where the source publishes it, which matters if the files are going into a media library rather than a folder.

Playlists, channels and user uploads are all handled as a unit, expanding into individual queue items so a failure on one does not stop the rest. Subtitles download alongside as separate files in the standard format when the source offers them, in as many languages as are available. Finished items can be routed into folders by source, and the application remembers what it has already fetched so a repeated playlist run only pulls what is new.

Key Features

  • Simple queue interface with progress per item and a configurable simultaneous download limit
  • Clipboard watching that adds any copied link to the queue automatically
  • Playlist, channel and user upload expansion into individual queue items
  • Quality and format set globally in preferences or overridden per item
  • Audio extraction to standard formats with bitrate and sample rate control
  • Metadata written into finished files including title, artist and source channel
  • Subtitle download as separate files in the standard format where published
  • Duplicate awareness so a repeated playlist run only fetches new items
  • Folder routing rules for organising finished downloads by source
  • Proxy support and bandwidth limiting for constrained connections

What Changed in This Build

  • Updated extraction for the current site players
  • Improved queue handling when an item becomes unavailable part way through a batch

Installation Notes

  • Turn on clipboard watching if you collect links in bulk. It removes the application switch entirely.
  • Lower the simultaneous download limit on a slow connection. Too many parallel items makes everything finish later, not sooner.
  • Set the output folder and naming rules before a big playlist run rather than sorting the result afterwards.

Before You Start

Read the notes above before running setup. Most of the problems people write in about are covered there, and almost all of them come down to an older version of the same software still being installed, a graphics driver that predates the release, or a security suite quarantining part of the package mid install.

There is no archive password on this or any other entry in the library. If something you downloaded elsewhere claims to come from here and asks for one, it did not come from here. Nothing on this site is behind a survey, a shortener or a countdown either.

If the entry does not match what the page describes, say so on the contact page and include the version string from the release details table. Reports naming a specific version get checked first because the checker can reproduce them straight away.

Frequently Asked

Does it need a browser extension?

No. It works from pasted links or from clipboard watching, so there is nothing to keep compatible with browser updates.

Can it fetch a whole channel?

Yes. Channels, playlists and user upload lists expand into individual queue items.

Will it redownload things I already have?

No. It tracks what it has fetched, so rerunning a playlist only pulls the new items.
