Overview
This is a downloader rather than a package, and that difference is the entire reason people use it. Instead of pulling a multi gigabyte archive that was assembled at some point in the past, it fetches the current build from the official distribution servers at the moment you run it, which means what lands on the machine is always the current release rather than something that needs an hour of updates immediately afterwards.
The selection screen is where the work happens. Every application in the suite is listed with a checkbox, so a machine that only needs a word processor and a spreadsheet does not receive a mail client, a database and a desktop publisher it will never open. Release channel, architecture, display language and additional proofing languages are all chosen on the same screen, and the tool assembles the correct configuration from those choices rather than asking you to write one by hand.
Behind the interface it is driving the official deployment mechanism, which matters for reliability. Installation, repair, removal and update all go through the same supported paths that a corporate rollout would use, so nothing about the resulting install is unusual from the system's point of view. Updates continue to arrive normally afterwards, and repairing a broken install is a button rather than a reinstall.
It also handles the cleanup that trips most people up. Preloaded manufacturer trials, half removed earlier generations and orphaned registration entries are the usual cause of a failed Office setup, and the removal tool inside this front end clears them properly before the install begins. Activation is applied after the install completes so the suite is ready to use rather than opening into a prompt.
Key Features
- Fetches the current build from the official distribution servers at run time
- Per application selection so only what you tick is installed
- Release channel choice between the current and the extended support lines
- Architecture selection between 32-bit and 64-bit at install time
- Display language and additional proofing language packs selectable in the same pass
- Built on the supported deployment mechanism so updates and repair behave normally
- Removal tool that clears preloaded trials and broken earlier installations first
- Repair, update and uninstall available from the same interface afterwards
- Activation applied automatically once the install finishes
- Very small download since the payload is fetched rather than bundled
What Changed in This Build
- Channel list updated to match the current release lines
- Removal routine improved for machines carrying a partly uninstalled earlier suite
- Language pack list expanded and reordered alphabetically
- Better progress reporting during the download phase on slow connections

Installation Notes
- Run the removal step first if any Office generation or manufacturer trial is already on the machine. Skipping it is the usual cause of a failed install.
- Choose 64-bit unless a legacy add in forces otherwise. The architecture cannot be changed later without a full reinstall.
- Leave the machine connected for the whole install. Interrupting the download mid way means starting the pass again.
Before You Start
Read the notes above before running setup. Most of the problems people write in about are covered there, and almost all of them come down to an older version of the same software still being installed, a graphics driver that predates the release, or a security suite quarantining part of the package mid install.
There is no archive password on this or any other entry in the library. If something you downloaded elsewhere claims to come from here and asks for one, it did not come from here. Nothing on this site is behind a survey, a shortener or a countdown either.
If the entry does not match what the page describes, say so on the contact page and include the version string from the release details table. Reports naming a specific version get checked first because the checker can reproduce them straight away.
