Overview
The built in disk management console can shrink a volume until it hits an immovable file and then refuses to explain why. This application does not have that limitation. It moves data out of the way, relocates the partition itself, and completes operations the standard tool declines to attempt, with everything queued as pending changes that only execute when you apply them.
The core operations cover the ordinary partitioning problem set: resize and move, merge two adjacent partitions without losing the contents of either, split one into two, extend a system volume into free space that is not adjacent to it, change cluster size, set active and hidden flags, and rebuild a master boot record that no longer points anywhere useful.
Conversion handles the transitions that normally require a reinstall. Basic to dynamic and back, the older partition table format to the newer one without touching the data, and file system conversion between the common formats in place. On a machine being prepared for a firmware mode change, converting the partition table without wiping the drive turns a full reinstall into a ten minute operation.
Migration and recovery round out the Ultimate tier. The whole system can be copied to a new drive, including the boot components, so a machine moved from a conventional disk to a solid state drive starts from the new one without a reinstall. Lost partitions can be scanned for and restored, deleted files recovered, disks wiped with multiple passes, surface tested for bad sectors, benchmarked, and analysed with a space usage view that shows exactly which folders consumed the drive.
Key Features

- Extend a system volume into free space that is not adjacent to it
- Convert between partition table formats without destroying the data
- Convert file systems and basic to dynamic disks in place
- System migration to a new drive that boots without a reinstall
- Whole disk and partition copying for cloning and upgrades
- Lost partition scanning and recovery, plus deleted file recovery
- Surface testing for bad sectors and disk benchmarking
- Multi pass secure wiping for disks being retired or handed on
- Space usage analyser showing which folders consumed the drive
What Changed in This Build
- Faster partition move on very large volumes
- Improved handling of drives with hidden manufacturer recovery partitions

Installation Notes
- Back up before any partition operation. These tools are reliable, but a power cut during a partition move is unrecoverable regardless of which tool is running.
- Operations affecting the system volume run before the operating system loads. Let that pass finish rather than forcing a restart.
- When migrating to a new drive, disconnect the old one for the first boot so the boot loader resolves to the correct disk.
Before You Start
Read the notes above before running setup. Most of the problems people write in about are covered there, and almost all of them come down to an older version of the same software still being installed, a graphics driver that predates the release, or a security suite quarantining part of the package mid install.
There is no archive password on this or any other entry in the library. If something you downloaded elsewhere claims to come from here and asks for one, it did not come from here. Nothing on this site is behind a survey, a shortener or a countdown either.
If the entry does not match what the page describes, say so on the contact page and include the version string from the release details table. Reports naming a specific version get checked first because the checker can reproduce them straight away.
Frequently Asked
It relocates data and moves the partition itself rather than refusing when an immovable file sits in the way.
Yes, the boot components are copied as part of the migration. Disconnect the source drive for the first start so the loader resolves correctly.
Yes, that conversion is done in place and is the usual reason people install it before a firmware mode change.
