Overview
CLO reversed how garment development works. Rather than cutting a physical sample, fitting it, marking corrections and cutting another, the pattern is drawn flat, sewn together in three dimensions and simulated on an avatar in minutes. Corrections happen on the pattern and the drape updates immediately, which compresses a cycle that used to take a week per iteration into an afternoon.
The pattern side is a real two dimensional drafting environment. Pieces are drawn with the tools a patternmaker expects, with darts, notches, grading rules, internal lines, seam allowances and pleats, and existing patterns import from the standard exchange formats so an established block does not have to be redrawn. Every change on the flat pattern propagates into the sewn garment without a rebuild.
Simulation is the core and it is physically based rather than approximate. Fabric properties cover weight, thickness, stretch in both directions, bending stiffness, buckling and friction, measured from real material or chosen from a library, so a stiff canvas hangs like canvas and a light viscose flows like viscose. Pressure points, stress and strain maps show where a garment pulls, which turns fit assessment into something measurable rather than a matter of opinion.
The presentation side closes it out. Avatars are parametric with body measurements, poses and motion, so a garment can be walked rather than only stood in. Textures, prints, topstitching, trims, buttons, zips and hardware are applied with physical materials, and output covers rendered stills and turntables, technical flats, measurement tables and specification sheets, alongside export into the general three dimensional formats for anyone continuing the work elsewhere.

Installation Notes
- Set fabric properties before judging fit. A default fabric drapes nothing like the material you intend to use.
- Simulate at a lower particle distance while working and raise it only for final presentation, since fine simulation is much slower.
- Keep avatar measurements as a saved set per size range rather than adjusting one avatar repeatedly.
Before You Start
Read the notes above before running setup. Most of the problems people write in about are covered there, and almost all of them come down to an older version of the same software still being installed, a graphics driver that predates the release, or a security suite quarantining part of the package mid install.
There is no archive password on this or any other entry in the library. If something you downloaded elsewhere claims to come from here and asks for one, it did not come from here. Nothing on this site is behind a survey, a shortener or a countdown either.
